Hydrodynamic modelling of transport and dispersion in open and confined coastal systems under combined forcing, with application to pollutant source identification via EURAXESS

Università degli Studi di Firenze

Florence, Italy 🇮🇹

Offer Description

Numerical modelling of hydrodynamic, transport and dispersion processes in open and confined coastal systems. Numerical models will be used as virtual laboratories to investigate the effects of environmental forcing on pollutant dispersion and source identifiability, as well as on circulation, mixing and water renewal processes, with applications also to the Orbetello Lagoon.
