Overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office.
Your Role
- Assist with the development and updating of engineering drawings and layouts using CAD software to support transportation and drainage design projects.
- Assist with performing hydrologic, hydraulic, and other engineering calculations using established procedures and software tools.
- Assist with preparation of technical memoranda, reports, quantity calculations, and supporting project documentation.
- Assist in the production and quality control review of construction plans, specifications, and other deliverables for client submittals.
About You
- EXPERIENCE: No experience is required if accepted into an Associate’S or Bachelor’s degree program in a Civil or Environmental Engineering field.
- EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil or environmental engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of Summer 2027.
- SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn. Experience with MicroStation (preferred).
