Offer Description
The research activity will focus on the development and integration of advanced methodologies for monitoring, modelling and managing flood risk in urban and coastal environments through the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), environmental monitoring networks, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, hydrological and hydraulic models, data analytics techniques and Decision Support Systems (DSS). The research fellow will contribute to the development of integrated Digital Twin models of hydraulic systems for dynamic monitoring, simulation of extreme events and decision support in flood risk management.
