STATEMENT OF WORK

Knowledge of the following is required:

  • University degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in environmental management, regulatory compliance, environmental impact assessment, waste management, pollution prevention, and the development and management of environmental or sustainability-related projects, including requirements development, systems engineering support activities, acquisition, implementation, operation, and maintenance. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), including implementation, monitoring, auditing, compliance control, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EU and international environmental legislation, regulations, permitting framework, and industry best practices related to environmental protection, pollution prevention, waste management and green procurement framework. 
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary and multinational environments involving governmental, military, industrial, or international stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in writing technical documents and correspondence in the English language 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools. 
  • A “NATO SECRET” security clearance.

IMPORTANT NOTES

In accordance with the NATO employment regulations, the contract will be established for
a 9-month period. The duty stations will be  Luxembourg or any other area as required.
