# Project Manager – Projects

### About the Position

We are seeking a **dynamic, result-oriented Project Manager** to lead and coordinate projects related to **watershed development, agriculture, natural resource management, organic & natural farming, rural livelihoods, FPOs and agribusiness**.

The Project Manager will be responsible for effective **project planning, field implementation, team coordination, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder engagement** to ensure timely and quality delivery of project objectives.

### Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the **planning, implementation and monitoring** of assigned projects and programmes.

2. Prepare and coordinate **DPRs, proposals, budgets, action plans, work plans and project documentation**.

3. Coordinate implementation of **watershed, agriculture, natural resource management, organic & natural farming and livelihood interventions**.

4. Support and guide **FPO development, value-chain activities, aggregation, processing, branding and market linkages**.

5. Monitor project progress through **MIS, field reports, M&E systems and performance indicators**.

6. Lead, coordinate and mentor **project and field teams** to ensure effective implementation and accountability.

7. Coordinate with **Government Departments, CSR organisations, NGOs, development partners, technical institutions and other stakeholders**.

8. Organise and participate in **meetings, consultations, training programmes, workshops and field-level activities**.

9. Identify project-level challenges and ensure **timely corrective actions and resolution of implementation issues**.

10. Prepare and review **progress reports, field reports, presentations and technical documents** for management and project stakeholders.

11. Support the organisation in identifying **new project opportunities, partnerships and programme development initiatives**.

12. Ensure achievement of project **targets, quality standards, timelines and measurable field-level outcomes**.

### Candidate Profile

* **8–12 years** of relevant experience in project/programme management, rural development, agriculture or development-sector programmes.
* Proven experience in **project planning, implementation, monitoring and team coordination**.
* Strong exposure to **watershed development, agriculture, natural farming, FPOs, rural livelihoods, agribusiness, DPRs and M&E**.
* Experience in managing **project teams and field-level implementation activities**.
* Strong experience in **Government, CSR and stakeholder coordination**.
* Post Graduate/Master’s degree in **Agriculture, Rural Development, Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, NRM or related fields**.
* Good **leadership, communication, coordination, problem-solving and decision-making skills**.
* Strong **report writing, documentation and MS Office/MIS skills**.
* Willingness to undertake **extensive field travel**.

Ideal Candidate

A **hands-on project professional** who can effectively manage project implementation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage with Government and institutional stakeholders, monitor project performance and deliver **timely, measurable and sustainable field-level outcomes**.
