Wages

  • Annual Salary : 6 million yen ~ 8 million yen• Annual salary system according to position, performance, and job description.
    • According to the “Tokyo Metropolitan Public University Corporation University Faculty’s Salary Regulations”.
    • Wages (approximate) is an estimated amount calculated by taking into account basic salary+ basic job amount+ performance salary+ salary increase.
    • In addition to the above, various additions will be paid according to the duties based on corporate regulations.
    • The above annual salary is for one fiscal year (from April to March of the following year), and necessary adjustments will be made according to the time of appointment.
    • Performance pay will be paid according to the period of service and the performance rate according to the “Performance Salary Regulations for University Faculties” of the Tokyo Metropolitan Public University Corporation.
    • Basic salary, basic job amount, performance salary, salary increase, etc. are subject to change due to revisions to rules and regulations.

Working hours

  • Working hours :09:00-17:45Break time :12:00-13:00Holidays : Two days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays), national holidays, and year- end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3 of the following year).

    ※Subject to the “Regulations on Working Hours, Holidays, and Leave for Tokyo Metropolitan University Faculty and Staff.”Overtime and other explanations : The Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work applies with 7 hours and 45 minutes per day (deemed working hours).

Qualifications

  • Education and Degree RequirementsPh.D. / Doctor / OthersAn applicant must meet the following five criteria:
    (1) Hold a doctoral degree at the time of appointment (Including qualifications expected to be obtained by the time of hire) .
    (2) Be capable of conducting education and supervision support in Japanese or English.
    (3) Possess an interdisciplinary perspective without being confined to specialized fields or disciplines and be enthusiastic about education and research. While research experience in the field of water supply system engineering is not required, candidates are expected to be eager to collaborate on applying and developing mathematical information engineering in this field.
    (4) Be willing to contribute to the internationalization of the Department including collaboration and exchange with overseas universities, student exchanges, and the acceptance of international students.
    (5) Nationality is not a requirement, but individuals must have the willingness to communicate in Japanese.
