Offer Description
The program aims to develop and apply integrated methodologies for the environmental monitoring of liquid matrices (surface water, groundwater, and wastewater). It includes the design of monitoring networks in natural and contaminated environments and the chemical, physical-chemical, and isotopic characterization of water using advanced analytical techniques. Activities will focus on identifying contamination sources, studying water-rock interactions, and the processes that control the mobility of potentially toxic elements. Geochemical and isotopic indicators will also be developed as environmental tracers useful for reconstructing hydrogeochemical processes and the temporal evolution of water quality. Teaching activities, lasting a maximum of 40 hours, include support for exercises and seminars, while third-mission activities include technology transfer to institutions and dissemination activities.

– PhD or equivalent degree obtained abroad;
– Scientific and professional CV suitable for the postdoctoral position.

a)Educational background
– PhD in SCIENCES in the EARTH SCIENCES scientific area with particular
reference to the field of ISOTOPIC AND FLUID GEOCHEMISTRY
– Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in EARTH SCIENCES (LM-74)
– master’s degrees or advanced training courses, etc., in the relevant scientific field
b)Research activity in the scientific field of the position (for example, laboratory experience,internship activities at universities and national and international research institutions,participation in conferences, post-doctoral research fellowship, etc..), collaboration in teaching and third mission activities, and relevant work experience for the position (membership in scientific associations, participation in specialization schools, etc.)
c)Scientific publications in the field of GEOCHEMISTRY
English language.
