Offer Description
The Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy at Lublin University of Technology announces an OPEN COMPETITION for the position of assistant in the research and teaching staff group at the Department of Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal.
Requirements for candidates:
- completed first and second cycle studies in environmental engineering, energy, or computer science-related fields;
- graduation from second cycle studies with at least a good grade;
- fluency in Polish, both spoken and written (for foreigners, confirmed by an appropriate certificate);
- good command of English;
- knowledge and skills in computer techniques and basic data analysis applicable in environmental engineering and energy;
- inclination for scientific, teaching, and organizational work;
- commitment and availability at Lublin University of Technology as the primary workplace;
- positive outcome of the interview.
Preferred skills:
- ability to work effectively in a team;
- additional skills relevant to the position, verified through certificates or diplomas;
- flexibility to adapt to changing requirements;
- strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

- information from the National Criminal Register regarding offenses specified in Chapters XIX and XXV, Articles 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and the Act of July 29th, 2005, on counteracting drug addiction, and in the case of persons holding citizenship of a country other than the Republic of Poland, information from the criminal register of that country or a statement as referred to in Article 21, paragraphs 5-7, of the Act of May 13th, 2016, on counteracting threats related to sexual offenses and protection of minors;

The message subject should read: “Competition for the position of Assistant at the Department of Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal” by August 25th, 2026.
The announcement of the competition results does not result in the establishment of an employment relationship. The decision to hire is made by the Rector. Lublin University of Technology reserves the right to close the competition without a decision and to respond only to selected offers.

In accordance with Order No. R-42/2026 of the Rector of the Lublin University of Technology dated May 14, 2026, the templates for the required attachments are included in this announcement and are available for download. Three months after the conclusion of the competition procedure, all documents submitted by candidates who were not selected will be removed from our files and destroyed; candidates wishing to retrieve their documents should indicate this in their competition application.
