Cannabis for Conservation is seeking a Watershed Specialist to support the organization’s watershed restoration and sediment reduction work across Humboldt, Trinity, and Mendocino Counties. This role sits at the intersection of field assessment and project coordination, translating on-the-ground road and erosion conditions into treatment recommendations that keep soil on the land and out of our salmon-bearing streams.
As CFC continues to scale, this position will play a key role in supporting several concurrent, landscape-scale sediment reduction and watershed restoration grants, from assessing rural roads, culverts, and erosion sources in the field to coordinating deliverables, permitting, and partner communication in the office. Working closely with the Watershed Program Manager, GIS and biological staff, and the contracted Engineer of Record, you’ll help translate field data into practical solutions and keep multi-parcel, multi-year projects on track.

💼 Full-time | $40–53/hr DOE | Excellent benefits
