The African Urban Sanitation Investment Initiative (AUSII), hosted by the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), supports African countries in accelerating access to safely managed sanitation through project preparation, capacity development, knowledge generation, and investment mobilization.
As part of its knowledge and capacity-building agenda, AUSII has developed an online Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS) learning programme designed to strengthen the technical and institutional capacities of policymakers, municipal authorities, utilities, regulators, sanitation practitioners, development partners, academic institutions, and private-sector stakeholders.
