CODE 26CU08 and 26CU09 Full professor of hydraulic engineering

– General Requirements:

a. Be a Spanish national or a national of one of the other Member States of the European Union. Also eligible to participate, regardless of nationality, are the spouses of Spanish nationals and nationals of other European Union member states, provided there is no legal separation, as well as their descendants and those of their spouse, whether under the age of twenty-one or over that age and living at their expense. Likewise, individuals falling within the scope of international treaties concluded by the European Union and ratified by Spain—in which the free movement of workers applies—may participate, under the terms defined by European Union law. In any case, those who do not hold Spanish nationality must demonstrate proficiency in the Spanish language, unless such proficiency is inferred from their country of origin.

b. Be at least sixteen years of age and not have reached retirement age.

c. Not have been dismissed from service in any public administration through disciplinary proceedings, nor be disqualified from holding public office. If they do not hold Spanish nationality, they must also provide proof that they are not subject to any disciplinary sanction or criminal conviction that would prevent them, in their home country, from entering public service.

d. Possess the functional capacity to perform the duties of a university professor.

e. Have paid the examination fees established in this call for applications or provide proof of exemption from payment or a fee reduction.

– Specific requirements:

a. Be a member of the Corps of Tenured University Professors or the Scientific Research Staff Scale of Public Research Organizations and have completed at least two years of active service in this capacity. Those who belong to the Corps of University Full Professors may not apply.

b. Be accredited for the Corps of University Full Professors. Faculty members accredited in accordance with Royal Decree 1312/2007, of October 5, and those qualified in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 774/2002, of July 26, which regulates the national qualification system for access to university teaching civil service positions and the rules governing the respective competitive examinations. Applicants must meet all of the above requirements by the deadline for submitting applications and must continue to meet them until the date of assuming the position.
