Key Roles Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and review urban and rural water supply systems.
- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, technical reports, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Design and review intake structures, water treatment plants (WTPs), pumping stations, transmission mains, ESRs, GLSRs, and distribution networks.
- Perform hydraulic analysis and modelling of water supply systems using industry-standard software.
- Review water demand assessments, source sustainability, and distribution network designs.
- Ensure compliance with CPHEEO Manual, BIS standards, State Government guidelines, and other applicable regulations.
- Monitor project implementation, construction progress, quality assurance, and contract compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and design reviews.
- Coordinate with government departments, Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Review contractor submissions, drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
- Support procurement activities, bid evaluations, and technical clarifications.
- Prepare project progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Identify project risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, operation, and maintenance of water supply infrastructure.

Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent.
- Additional certifications in water supply planning, hydraulic modelling, or project management will be an added advantage.
