Key Roles Responsibilities
- Plan and design sewerage and wastewater management systems for urban and rural projects.
- Prepare and review DPRs, feasibility studies, technical reports, BOQs, estimates, and tender documents.
- Design and review sewerage networks, pumping stations, rising mains, and associated infrastructure.
- Review and validate hydraulic calculations and wastewater demand projections.
- Plan and review Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs), and decentralized wastewater treatment systems (DEWATS).
- Evaluate treatment technologies such as ASP, SBR, MBBR, MBR, UASB, and other suitable processes.
- Ensure compliance with CPHEEO Manual, CPCB, MoEFCC, State Pollution Control Board guidelines, and relevant BIS standards.
- Support implementation of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) initiatives and sanitation improvement projects.
- Coordinate with government departments, ULBs, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct technical inspections, site visits, quality monitoring, and progress reviews.
- Review contractor submissions, design drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
- Assist in project planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management.
- Provide technical guidance during construction, commissioning, testing, and operation of wastewater facilities.
- Prepare project presentations, technical notes, compliance reports, and monthly progress reports.

Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Specialization in Environmental Engineering, Wastewater Engineering, Sanitation Engineering, or Water Wastewater Management preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification (M.E./M.Tech) in Environmental Engineering or Water Resources will be an added advantage.
