Call No. 331.9 RIC IRSA: Selection process for one staff member with the professional profile of Level III Researcher at the Water Research Institute (IRSA) – Bari branch, to carry out the following scientific or technological research activity: “Development of participatory models based on the integration of qualitative and quantitative spatially-referenced data for the co-design and evaluation of nature-based solutions.”

Specific Requirements

– Master’s Degree (LM-35) or Specialist Degree (38/S) in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering; or Master’s Degree (LM-23) or Specialist Degree (28/S) in Civil Engineering; or University Degrees under the previous educational system (*vecchio ordinamento*) deemed equivalent to the aforementioned degree classes pursuant to the Interministerial Decree of July 9, 2009, and subsequent amendments.
– At least three years of experience at a research institution or university conducting research on the management and harmonization of qualitative and quantitative spatial data to support the co-design and evaluation of Nature-Based Solutions; or possession of a PhD relevant to the required experience.
– Knowledge of software tools for geospatial data management (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS);
– Knowledge of languages ​​and advanced tools for the harmonization and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., Python, Matlab, R).
– Knowledge of English and basic IT skills (to be assessed during the interview);
– Knowledge of Italian for candidates who are not Italian citizens (to be assessed during the interview).
