BEng/BSc Engineering (Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering)
Professional Registration with ECSA
Minimum 5 years’ relevant consulting engineering experience
Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment design
Experience in one or more of the following will be advantageous
• Potable Water Treatment Works
• Wastewater Treatment Works
• Water reuse schemes
• Biological nutrient removal
• Activated sludge systems
• Clarifiers and filtration systems
• Sludge treatment and handling
• Membrane technologies
• Industrial water treatment
• Desalination
• Pump stations associated with treatment facilities
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Undertake process evaluations and hydraulic assessments.
• Prepare design reports, specifications and tender documentation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Support construction, commissioning and optimisation activities.
• Engage with clients and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor junior engineers.
