POA is seeking a creative, mission-driven communicator to help tell the story of one of the world’s most valuable groundwater resources. The Water Communications Coordinator will transform complex groundwater science, policy, and environmental issues into compelling stories, educational resources, and advocacy campaigns that inspire people to protect the Memphis Sand Aquifer.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution—interviewing community members, designing a fact sheet, writing an action alert, managing social media, editing videos, or translating a technical report into plain language. The ideal candidate has a strong skill for design, exceptional writing skills, and an interest in environmental science, public health, environmental justice, or water resources. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), salaried position.
