Job Description:
Your responsibilities:
- Independent research: numerical modelling of flow and transport processes in Alpine watercourses, hydrological surveying
- Independent delivery of courses and conducting examinations; language of instruction: German (focus: hydraulics, hydraulic engineering)
- Supervision of students, including supervision of Bachelor’s theses
- Contributing to research, teaching and administrative tasks within the organisational unit
- Further training
Your profile:
- Completed PhD in civil engineering or environmental engineering (specialising in hydraulic engineering/water management) or a closely related field
- Experience in the numerical modelling of flow and transport processes in water bodies
- Ability to work in a team
- Communication skills
