Specific Requirements
Professional with experience in water resource management in areas affected by acid mine drainage, hydrogeochemical modeling at basin scale, advanced use of PHREEQC and/or similar geochemical/thermodynamic modeling programs, and with proven experience in international scientific environments.

Amount: 2.109,30 € gross, monthly including extra payments
Duties and responsibilities:
The hired individual will be responsible for collecting water and solid samples for the project’s research. Subsequently, in the laboratory, he/she will contribute to the chemical and mineralogical characterization of the samples. This includes conventional techniques such as digestion to determine the total concentration of elements and sequential extractions to study their mobility in different environmental compartments using ICP-AES, ICP-MS, and HPLC, as well as mineralogical characterization using XRD, SEM-EDS, and EPMA. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for interpreting the geochemical and mineralogical data obtained and preparing scientific articles for publication based on this data.

Selection process
1. Master in Geology and Environmental Management of Mineral Resources (3 points).
2. International mobility in research institutions (maximum 2 points).
3. Solid experience in publishing international scientific articles in topics related to the project objetives (maximum 4 points).
4. Personal interview if deemed necessary (maximum 1 point).

In compliance with Section 8 of the Resolution of the University of Huelva of December 18, 2025, which establishes the legal basis and schedule for the publication of public tenders for personnel contracts for the realisation and execution of projects, grants, agreements and contracts with third parties of fixed duration for the year 2026 (BOJA nº 248 de 26/12/2025), the application must be accompanied by the following documents in order for the applications to be included in the lists of admitted and excluded applicants:
