JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and implementation of water conservation programmes, stakeholder engagement activities and demand management initiatives. The role also supports programme administration, data collection and analysis, public awareness campaigns, reporting and operational activities to achieve Air Selangor’s water conservation objectives.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of water conservation and demand management programmes in accordance with Air Selangor’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the implementation of water conservation awareness programmes, exhibitions, roadshows, stakeholder engagement activities and community outreach programmes.
- Support the execution of behavioural change initiatives and water efficiency programmes for residential, commercial and institutional customers.
- Assist in conducting site visits, water efficiency assessments and programme implementation activities.
- Collect, compile and analyse customer water consumption data and programme information to support planning, reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare reports, presentation materials, programme documentation and progress updates for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Customer Experience, Customer Billing, Corporate Communications, Operations and Regional Offices to facilitate programme implementation.
- Assist in developing educational materials, awareness campaigns and communication content related to water conservation initiatives.
- Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, educational institutions, NGOs and external stakeholders to support programme implementation and collaborative activities.
- Coordinate logistics and operational arrangements for meetings, exhibitions, campaigns, workshops and other engagement programmes.
- Monitor programme implementation, maintain project records and recommend operational improvements where necessary.
- Support the preparation of annual work plans, programme schedules, special projects, budgets and procurement documentation.
- Ensure all assigned projects are implemented in accordance with company policies, procedures and approved timelines.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications, Sustainability, Business Management, Environmental Science, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, community programmes, corporate communications or related fields.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience may also be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good understanding of: Water conservation, Stakeholder engagement, Sustainability, Project coordination, Customer engagement, Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to coordinate programmes and projects effectively.
- Able to prepare reports and presentation materials.
- Able to collect, analyse and interpret basic data.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good presentation and facilitation skills.
- Able to work effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
