Objective and Purpose of the Assignment
Team of Individual Consultants for the Supervision Services (Employer’s Representative) needs to work
for the DBO Contract for the construction of 17.3 MLD Tukucha Wastewater Treatment Plant is required and Construction Site Inspector (CSI) will be one of the key expert in the team.
Scope of Work
The National Construction Site Inspector (CSI) should work with National Construction Supervision
Engineer (CSE) and monitor, inspect the construction of the Civil works for the wastewater treatment
plant, supervision of construction works, testing of construction material, workmanship requirements and
evaluating the quality of works under the guidance of CSE.
Detailed Tasks and/or Expected Output
Task 1: Work with National Construction Supervision Engineer, the CSI to prepare a monitoring and
inspection report for the construction of Civil works for the wastewater treatment plant.
Task 2: Carry out regular monitoring and inspection of the construction of Civil works for the
wastewater treatment plant.
(i) Prepare weekly reports on the monitoring and inspections.
(ii) Prepare non-compliances, if any and rectification requirements
(iii) Witness the site tests and laboratory tests as required.
(iv) Day to day supervision of works and report the quantities.
Task 3: Assist the CSE with any other tasks related to monitoring and inspection of construction of
Civil works, as required.
Task 4: Assist the Team leader and deputy team leader with any other tasks related to construction of
works, as required.
Task 5: Assist the Team Leader cum Senior Civil Engineer for preparation of various reports.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
The Construction Supervision Inspector (CSI) have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and possess a
minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the inspection and supervision of civil works
construction, particularly in water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure
projects.
Minimum General Experience: 8 Years
Minimum Specific Experience (relevant to assignment): 5 Years
