Research areas
The fellowship will focus on interdisciplinary research at the interface of environmental microbiology, water sciences and risk assessment, including:
- Plastic-associated microbial communities (plastisphere) and microbial risk assessment in marine environments
- Hydrological modelling and Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) in river systems
- One Health approaches to water-related environmental risks
The fellow will join an active research group involved in international and European projects (e.g. Interreg CONTAPLAST) and will benefit from institutional support for MSCA proposal development.
Candidate profile
We welcome applications from postdoctoral researchers with a background in:
- Environmental microbiology
