Salary Range: $56,022 – $103,055 (Full-Time)

The Role
Performs technical paraprofessional civil engineering and supervisory work both in the field and office. This position reports directly to the DPU Design division.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed engineering design plans and specifications.
Read, interpret, and ensure compliance with County and State utility/building codes.
Plan and supervise the work of technical staff.
Collaborate effectively with consulting engineers, architects, and the public.
Work occasionally in adverse weather/temperature conditions.
Requirements
Education: 2-year degree in a related engineering discipline.
Experience: 3 years of related paraprofessional engineering experience.
(An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered).
Background: Must successfully pass FBI, State Police, and Child Protective Services background checks.
