The research activity is part of a broader project aimed at studying the hydrological and hydraulic regimes of the catchments in the Province of Trento through innovative approaches, including a hydrological digital twin for simulating streamflow, snow cover, and water content, as well as automatic hourly and daily calibration. The study area encompasses the main river basins of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Adige – Avisio, Noce, Fersina, Leno, Aviana – Brenta River, Cismon Stream, Sarca River, and Chiese River).
