Offer Description
All applicants (m/f) must fulfill the requirements stipulated by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette: 119/22), and are required to submit all of the relevant evidence proving that those requirements are met. Written applications, enclosing additionally curriculum vitae and certificate of citizenship (Croatian nationals only), should be submitted in Croatian language, within 30 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, to the following address: Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Ruđera Boškovića 32, 21 000 Split, Croatia (e-mail: fesb_posao@fesb.hr). Foreign citizens are also required to provide: certificate of proficiency in Croatian language, proof of academic title (Diploma,Diploma Supplement) – if the candidates obtained their qualification abroad, they are required to submit a decision on the recognition of a foreign higher education qualification, bibliography, the information on scientific, educational and professional activities, Certificate of No Criminal Record (issued within the last 6 months) and the documentary evidence of working experience. Applicants must also meet other requirements defined by the relevant Croatian Science Foundation call for proposals, which relate to holding an ORCID identifier (https://orcid.org/) as well as requirements regarding the period since obtaining a doctoral degree.
The main outcome of the job vacancy is contingent upon the project evaluation process conducted by the Croatian Science Foundation. Only candidates who receive a positive evaluation in the job vacancy for senior assistants and who are favorably ranked on the scoring lists of the Croatian Science Foundation Postdoctoral Research Projects (PDIP) call can be employed, and their projects be funded.
The Faculty reserves the right to organize knowledge and skills testing for registered candidates who meet the formal requirements. Candidates will be informed about the place and time of the examination by e-mail to the address specified in the application. Curriculum vitae, bibliography and the information on scientific, educational and professional activity should be submitted in written form. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be taken into consideration.
