Liam J Butler and I are recruiting for a MASc or PhD student to be based in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University in Toronto, Canada. The graduate student will be part of our recently funded New Frontiers in Research Fund Exploration project: “Can I drink the tap water?” An interdisciplinary action framework for water quality assurance in multi-unit rental housing.
This exciting interdisciplinary project will bring together civil and electrical engineers from York University and urban planning and geography experts from the University of Waterloo to explore drinking water safety challenges in rental housing in Southern Ontario. The successful candidate will engage with stakeholders and research collaborators, conduct water quality sampling, and contribute to the development of point-of-need and distributed sensors to improve water quality monitoring in multi-unit buildings.
Additional details about the position are provided in the listing below. Note that the position closes on Friday June 26th and only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
