Source Water Specialist. Travels to water utilities throughout New Jersey developing source water protection plans and providing training on behalf of the NJ Water Association. On-the-job training will be provided. Successful candidates will have at least one of the following: Knowledge of water operations, a public health background, education or experience that can be used as a basis for developing source water source / wellhead protection plans.
Extensive in-state and occasional out-of-state travel are required. Good speaking and writing skills required. Reliable NJ registered and insured vehicle and clean driving record a must.
Candidates must agree to employment physical and checks on criminal background and Motor Vehicle Commission records. Excellent benefits and 401 (k). EOE.
Must live in New Jersey. This job does not involve regular commutes to our office, so it is not required that employees live near our office.
