The Nile Basin Discourse (NBD) is pleased to announce an exciting Internship Opportunity under the Nile Civil Society for Climate Resilience (NCSCR) Project.
📍 Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
📅 Start Date: 01 May 2026
⏳ Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time)
👤 Position: 1 Intern
This internship is designed to empower young professionals while strengthening grassroots engagement in climate resilience and transboundary water cooperation across the Nile Basin.
🔍 What you’ll do:
• Collect and analyze field data on climate resilience and water resources
• Engage with local communities through awareness sessions and discussions
• Support citizen-led data initiatives and knowledge-sharing platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in regional learning events
• Build hands-on experience in environmental management and project coordination
🎓 Who can apply:
• Graduates in Environmental Studies, Water Resources, Climate Change, Engineering, ICT, STEM, or related fields
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged!)
• Strong communication, research, and teamwork skills
