Offer Description
The project involves the use of models for the hydrological and environmental analysis of watersheds, as well as for assessing the impacts of land use and climate change on the ecohydrological balance and, consequently, on water security.
Activities: The activities involve the development and analysis of environmental, climatic, and land-use scenarios, in collaboration with stakeholders, in order to provide the decision-makers with evidence-based inputs for risk governance and the design of adaptation plans. These efforts aim to support structural changes in the governance of natural resources and their relationships with sustainable development, thereby enhancing adaptation and resilience to climate change.
Mandatory requirements: Fluent proficiency in both English and Portuguese is essential. The selected candidate must reside in São Paulo city (Brazil) during the term of the fellowship. The fellowship period is 10 months.
Desirable requirements: Background in water resources management, water, and public health.
