Join our team as our Water Compliance Specialist! As a compliance inspector, you will support our mission of protecting water quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all water-related regulations and standards with an outstanding attention to detail. How You’ll Contribute
- Review plans, permits and/or management practices to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, standards, ordinances and policies.
- Gather, analyze, and enter data and reports related to permitting activities. Those with on-site sewage facility (OSSF) responsibility issue permits.
- Inspect and documents site conditions, physical habitats and/or resource conditions to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, standards, ordinances and policies.
- Provide consultation to other departments across LCRA related to water quality protection matters.
- Assist customers with understanding of technical requirements, rules, regulations, standards, ordinances and policies related to water quality protection.
- Connect with external organizations and attends public meetings, community outreach events and other various public functions as necessary to provide water quality protection information.
- Must obtain the Designated Representative and Site Evaluator licenses within six months of employment.
How You’re Qualified
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Driver’s license.
How You’ll Stand Out
- Registered Sanitarian license in the State of Texas.
- Knowledge of OSSF system design standards, functions, and schematics.
- Knowledge of evaluation of soil analysis and soil mechanics, including acceptable treatment and disposal options.
