Offer Description
The post-doctoral researcher will work on the project “Monitoring and Evaluation Platform for the Piracicaba, Capivari and Jundiaí River Basin Plan (PCJ Basins)”, funded by the FAPESP through its Research in Public Policies Program and started in August 2024. Activities will be carried out at the University of São Paulo (USP), São Paulo city, Brazil.
The fellowship duration is 24 months. Evaluation criteria include: (1) compliance with FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship obligations and (2) scientific performance and productivity compatible with the post-doctoral level and the project theme.
Requirements: full-time dedication (40h/week) and research experience in water and/or water resources management, with skills in scientific writing, Portuguese proficiency, good English, proactivity, and teamwork.
The fellow will contribute through systematic literature review, indicator development and validation, and database organization, supporting monitoring and impact evaluation of the PCJ Basin Plan, with emphasis on environmental education and water loss control in supply systems.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
