Job Description:
- Lead in the planning and implementation of all M&E activities
- Quality assurance for all WASH M&E activities
- Lead the analysis and synthesis of M&E data for programme quality improvement
- Lead research, evidence gathering, reporting and dissemination
- Safeguarding

Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position :
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Social Science, Water Resource Management, or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and formal communication
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Good analytical skills with appropriate attention to detail
- Excellent planning, coordination, and reporting skills
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with a wide range of people from different backgrounds
- High integrity, reliability and dependability
- A minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in M&E system coordination/implementation for field programmes in an international non-governmental organization or other international body
- Certification in M&E and in conducting assessments/rapid assessments or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience :
- Ability to conceptualize and put into practice well researched initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance systems and continuous improvement, with particular emphasis on integration of accountability measures into all aspects of the project cycle
- Knowledge of WASH principles and practice
- Knowledge of technology for tracking WASH data
- Knowledge of data/statistical programmes (e.g. SPSS, Stata)
- Experience in working on donor funded programs
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems
