We have an open PhD position at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Crete, Greece, on “Hydrology and Climate Risk”, with a focus on African flood impacts.
This is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network position within the CLIMES project: “Understanding and Predicting Impacts of Climate Extremes under Global Change”.
The successful candidate will work on the compilation and analysis of historical flood impact data across Africa, in collaboration with international academic and non-academic partners.
The start date is 1 September 2026 and the application deadline is 30 April 2026.
