Job Title: Hydrogeologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Hydrogeologist to study groundwater resources, assess water availability, and support water management and conservation projects. The candidate will be responsible for field investigations, data analysis, and preparation of hydrogeological reports.
The project involves the preparation and execution support of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) related to springs and streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs)
- Completion of the Geology and GIS components of the DPR
- Presentation of the DPR before the concerned department for approval
- Coordination with departmental authorities for DPR approval
- Providing necessary clarifications and resolving any queries raised by the department
- Assisting in facilitating the release of departmental payments related to the approved DPR
- Conduct groundwater surveys and field investigations
- Study soil, rock formations, and aquifer characteristics
- Monitor groundwater levels and quality
- Prepare hydrogeological maps and reports
- Identify suitable locations for borewells/tube wells
- Provide technical inputs for watershed and water conservation projects
- Coordinate with government departments and project teams
- Ensure compliance with environmental and water-related regulations
Required Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Tech in Geology / Hydrogeology / Earth Science
3–5 years of relevant field experience (preferred for project-based roles)
Knowledge of groundwater modeling and GIS tools
Experience in water resource assessment projects
Skills Required:
Strong analytical and field survey skills
Knowledge of groundwater laws and environmental compliance
Report writing and documentation skills
Ability to travel to project sites
Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹31,169.16 – ₹45,876.81 per month
