We are seeking a postdoc to join the Chattopadhyay ecohydrology lab at Texas State University.
The goal of the project is to improve our understanding of how hydrological variability and environmental gradients shape freshwater macroinvertebrate community structure in intermittent streams in Central Texas.
The position will focus on research at the intersection of ecohydrological modelling, field-based aquatic ecosystem research, and Environmental DNA (eDNA)- based quantification of aquatic biodiversity. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new interdisciplinary research program and work closely with graduate students on projects linking hydrology and aquatic ecology.
