Offer Description
The HealthTwin project proposes an advanced participatory digital twin framework that synthesizes urban heat and water dynamics, climate projections, vector ecology, and socio-environmental data to enhance resilience planning. It will enable early warning systems, scenario planning, and proposals for public policies and budgets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mapping the vulnerable groups that will participate in the project. The multi-layered participatory research approach integrates characterization of the communities involved, with an emphasis on describing their socio-environmental vulnerabilities; application of transdisciplinary methodologies and analysis of socio-ecological systems. The main objective is to establish guidelines for the implementation of green-blue infrastructure, through participatory planning, together with community leaders in the eastern zone of the municipality of São Paulo, Brazil.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
