The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a funding from the Africa Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost of Four Towns Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Program for Mekelle, Adama, Gode and Bichena Towns and intends to use part of the proceeds for payment of a contract for preparation of a Project Completion Report.
The assignment will be implemented around 4 towns, and the consultant will evaluate the effectiveness and of the project and produce a PCR using AfDB approved format. The consultant will be expected to prepare the report with the support of the Ministry of Water and Energy/Water Development Fund (MOWE/WDF) Project Experts. The report will present the physical achievements of the project by components and activities as well as lessons learnt and suggest a way forward. It will also present an appraisal of stakeholders’ participation; project impact on poverty; gender involvement in implementation; and discuss issues such as sustainability of activities, environmental impacts of the project; and the lessons learnt during implementation.
