The River Dynamics Laboratory at Simon Fraser University, in collaboration with WaterSHED lab at the University of Calgary (https://lnkd.in/ebrn4zvc), secks a PhD student to work on sediment supply in mountain drainage basins in the Rocky Mountains.
The candidate would develop and validate a morphodynamic model of changes in river channels caused by coarse sediment delivery by landslides. The candidate will join a large group of students and postdoes at Simon Fraser University and the University of Calgary with expertise in river geomorphology and natural hazards.
