Position- Supervisor – Water Surveillance Project

About the Project:
The Water Surveillance Project is an initiative of MARI NGO to ensure safe drinking water in 28 urban slums of Hyderabad. The project focuses on monitoring water quality, identifying risks, facilitating corrective measures, and promoting community awareness for healthier living environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise water surveillance activities across 28 urban slums.
• Monitor water sources, storage, and distribution systems for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with community volunteers to collect data and samples.
• Facilitate awareness campaigns on safe water practices and hygiene.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with government departments, local leaders, and partner organizations to address water-related issues.
• Ensure timely reporting and accountability in project implementation.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduate in Environmental Science, Public Health, Social Work, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in water quality monitoring, public health, or community development projects.
• Strong skills in supervision, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage field teams across multiple slums.
• Commitment to community health, transparency, and sustainable development.
