Offer Description

The research involves reconstructing the hydrogeological structure of aquifers A and B in the Lombardy plain, with a particular focus on the area between the Adda-Ticino and Po rivers. The activity primarily requires the use of QGIS and Leapfrog software for:
– archiving piezometric data
– assessing trends according to ISPRA guidelines
– archiving and digitizing stratigraphy
– correlating hydrogeological units
– comparing with previous reconstructions by CAP, the Province of Milan, and the Lombardy Region
Using the Modflow numeric code for:
– importing hydrogeological structure
– verifying layer consistency
– creating pinchout structures
– allocating water wells in the different layers
– representing surface water flows
– selecting calibration targets
