  • Support ongoing work with the River Engineering Team, potentially including projects that may fall within the fields of flood resilience, drought resilience, dam safety, bioengineering and riparian improvements, erosion and geomorphology and/or infrastructure design. One position will focus primarily on dam safety and asset management.
  • Collect and assess data including creek flow measurements, river and groundwater logger data, river ice and/or dam safety data.
  • Develop and/or populate data management and reporting tools to assist with asset management and/or project assessment/prioritization.
  • Development, testing and application of hydraulic and/or hydrologic and GIS data.

Qualifications

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • A security clearance will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Pre-employment Drug Test: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.
