The North East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA) is looking for an Officer (WASH) (1 Post)
Job Profile:
Provide technical planning, design, and implementation support for water resource management and WASH interventions. The Officer (WASH) will conduct site surveys, spring inventory, and water source assessments; prepare and review DTRs, estimates, and drawings; and supervise field implementation to ensure quality and compliance with approved designs and standards. The role includes supporting participatory planning, monitoring progress, maintaining technical documentation, contributing to donor-compliant reporting, training communities on operation and maintenance of structures.
Qualification:
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience in WASH, rural water supply, springshed management, or water resource management projects preferred
• Strong documentation, coordination, and community engagement skills
