PURPOSE
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct advanced research on the integrated analysis and modeling of urban water and environmental systems, focusing on urban stormwater hydrology, nonpoint source pollution, and human-water dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research: 85%
- Collect and manage the data of water and environmental systems.
- Conduct the analysis and modeling of water and environmental systems.
- Develop reports, presentations, and manuscripts based on research results.
- Perform analysis and tests.
- Make and record observations and scientific measurement.
- Extract, collect and compile data.
Administrative: 10%
- Develop and maintain training materials for external users.
- Prepare scientific summary papers and reports.
- Propose research ideas.
Other: 5%
- Propose research ideas.
QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Research experience in hydrology, geospatial analysis, and machine learning
- Skills of scientific writing and communications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with hydrologic modeling
- Experience with socio-environmental modeling
- Experience with hydrologic or environmental fieldwork
