Position Summary:
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting the company’s research efforts, providing detailed analysis, and generating insights that help our clients identify and understand water-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. The Analyst will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and presenting complex data to inform strategic decisions, both internally and for clients. The work will be vital in creating actionable recommendations in the field of corporate water management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze environmental, climate, and geospatial datasets (including on water scarcity, quality, regulatory changes, and climate impacts across various industries) to support project needs and client deliverables
  • Support research and analysis to identify, quantify and document water-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities across corporate value chains
  • Support the successful application and validation of Volumetric Water benefit Accounting Guidance
  • Develop clear insights, visualizations, and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Use coding tools (preferably Python or R) to automate data cleaning, analysis, or modeling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into customized solutions for clients
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal data processes and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Degree in environmental science or engineering, hydrology, geography, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in water-related research and analysis, with a strong preference for experience in hydrology
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, GIS, statistical software)
  • Coding ability in Python or R (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, geospatial libraries, or statistical packages)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
