Position Overview
The Department of Earth & Chemical Sciences at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors of Environmental Science, Marine Science, or Geological Science for the spring semester beginning January 26, 2026. The positions are to teach lecture courses or laboratory courses, or both.Salary is $4,133.31 for a 3 credit course.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree (or higher) in environmental science, marine science, geological science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated prior teaching experience at the college level in any of the following: introductory earth science (lecture and lab), sustainability studies (lecture), introductory oceanography (lecture), or hydrology (lecture and lab).
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
