Seeking motivated applicants for a graduate student opportunity for an MSc or PhD at Washington State University in the School of the Environment, focused on water governance and the science-policy interface.
Broad research areas (seed project ideas are available and can be further developed based on student interest – please contact Dr. Hämmerli for more information):
- Water science-policy-practice interfaces
- Ecological monitoring & governance dynamics
- Groundwater governance
Students with a social sciences background (e.g., geography, political science, economics, sociology, environmental studies, interdisciplinary water resources, etc.) are encouraged to reach out to Dr. Hannah Hämmerli, particularly those excited about engagement with agencies and communities.

- Support: Teaching assistantship is available through the School of the Environment on a competitive basis, pending admission and formal acceptance.
