Colorado River Basin (Glenwood Springs Office), is now accepting applications for the following
position:
Municipal Augmentation Plan Coordinator – Physical Scientist/Research Scientist II ($76,104.00
– $112,404.00 Annually) – apply online by 01/26/2026:
The purpose of this position is to review decreed augmentation plans and perform audits of
complex augmentation plans to verify water user supplied records and associated accounting
are compliant with all applicable water court decrees, statutes, rules and regulations. This work
requires communication with municipal water providers, water commissioners, attorneys, and
consulting engineers. Applicants must have working knowledge of Colorado water law and 6
years of professional experience working in the water resources field and education. Applicants
must also have expertise using MS Excel and great written and verbal communication skills.
