📢Postdoctoral Opportunity | UNESCO Chair on Aflaj Studies & Socio-Hydrology
The UNESCO Chair on Aflaj Studies and Socio-Hydrology, based at the University of Nizwa (Oman), is pleased to announce an opening for an early-career Postdoctoral Researcher to join its “Agricultural Production Systems and Agroecology Research Team”.
📢About the position
The successful candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary research projects that explore the complex interrelations between water systems, agricultural production, and ecological processes, with an emphasis on agroecology and socio-hydrological perspectives.
📢Eligibility & qualifications
– PhD in Agroecology or a closely related field
– Early-career researcher
– Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed articles in Q1 or Q2 journals
– Strong command of English (knowledge of Arabic is an asset)
– Proven teaching skills, as the appointee will teach one or two courses per semester alongside research responsibilities
