The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF), Organization for Petroleum Exporting Fund for International Development (OFID) and the Kuwait Fund toward the cost of the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project (WASHAERP) and has also applied for additional financing from other sources, including the Islamic Development Bank, Green Climate Fund (GCF), and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency toward co-financing of the project.
