The Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF), Organization for Petroleum Exporting Fund for International Development (OFID) and the Kuwait Fund toward the cost of the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project (WASHAERP) and has also applied for additional financing from other sources, including the Islamic Development Bank, Green Climate Fund (GCF), and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency toward co-financing of the project. It is intended to apply part of the financing to eligible payments under the contract for An Individual Consultant for Training in Climate Change and Stakeholder Engagement support the Executing Agency, Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC), and partner implementing agencies, notably, the MoWRS, MoGCA, Freetown City Council (FCC), NWRMA, and WARDC under the above-mentioned project.
