Universidad de Cádiz is offering a research position on a project to develop and validate a low-cost multiparametric probe for real-time direct water analysis.
Skills/Qualifications
The selected candidate will be responsible for tasks related to the synthesis of nanomaterials and electrode materials, among others.

Eligibility criteria
Specific qualifications: Degree in Chemistry or equivalent, preferably with a Master’s degree in Chemistry or similar. Training in Nanoscience and Materials Technology.
Experience:
o Synthesis of (nano)materials/electrode materials for electrochemical (bio)sensing.
o Knowledge and use of electrochemical techniques.
o Any of the following techniques necessary for the use/characterization of (bio)sensor devices: spectrophotometry, electroanalytical techniques, atomic spectroscopy (FAAS, ICP-OES), DLS, XRD, SEM, etc.
Languages:
English, level equal to or higher than B1
Spanish: equal to or higher than B1.
In case, the applicant does not have knowledge of Spanish, a B2 level and English would be required.
Other: Authorship or co-authorship of conference papers or scientific publications related to the project topic will be valued.

Additional comments
Spanish: equal to or higher than B1.
